ANGEL 7 - ISRAFEL
The seventh angel to face humanity, and the forth angel to attack Toyko 3,
also known as the parton god of music. The angel Isafel (also Israfil) means
the "burning one", and in the scripture (the muslim koran, the christain holy bible
and the jewish torah) as having the sweetest voice of all god creatures. He is also
the angel who will sound the trumpet on judgement day that will awaken the dead from their
slumber and summon all who have ever lived to come forth and be judged. His physical appearance
of the scripture, seems oddily similar in its description to parts of lilith and adam in the
series. Israfel first appears in the episode 9 Both of you, dance like you want to win!

Appearing soon after Asuka's arrival in Japan, once again an angel had appeared
out of nowhere , this angel's initial was that of one no different to angel's
3 and 4 (also coming from teh ocean as they did). However nothing could be furthur
from teh truth. True it maybe have been the one towering target obviously built for
hand to hand to hand combat, showing nothing significantly different from similar
appearing angels. Its relativly weak AT-field and projective lazer like weapon, seeminly
lacking in power, hides a more significant ability. This wasn't the first double eva to angel
confrontation (that was angel 5), however this was the first at close quaters and
the first to be interecepted. The angel seemed easily defeated as a spear was drive
right down its middle, none the less it showed its ability to seperate into 2 seperate
targets, quickly defeating the overly confident pilots (both Shinji and Asuka), finally
witdrawing after being bombed by an N2 mine (also another first).
The angel then withdrew to recombine itself back into its single form and regenerate,
leaving time for the evangelion to regroup. During this time, it was realised that this angel
would requirea rather bizzare and unusual means of attack to defeat it. That being a syncronised
attack on both of its halves, timed to a piece of classical music (appropriate that the angel of
music, is defeated using music). It was decided that Asuka and Shinji would be the two pilots
(after some difficulty with Asuka). The confrontation required that the angel be attacked
at full power and without a power chord, meant a 1 minute activation time, no time for a
single error, only one shot for success. The angel was met with precise timing, for the most
part, until the very last moved was misaligned. None the less, the angel was destroyed.
