TOUJI SUZAHARA
The class muscle, touji is the sorta guy that is not a weak personality. He is the fourth
children assigned to evangelion unit 03. Touji is the typical kinda seemingly condfident
guy that holds to his honor, taking what he can. Although this is not his only self, he
tries to hide his softer side, such as his affection for Hikari Horaki, and his injured
sister. Having a usual bunch of friends, he spends alot of his time, with the people he knows,
and has grown accoustomed to, such as Kensuke and Shinji, but mostly his sister and later Hikari.
However he, Kenske and Shinji group up, forming the "three stoges" as Asuka and Hikari
put it.

Being 14 years old, Touji has seemed to live in Neo Tokyo 3 for a fair while, having already been well
settled in at school and already good friends with Kensuke at the start of the series. Being born on
December 26th, When Angel 3 Sachiel attacked Neo Toyko 3, the battle with evangelion unit 1,
injured his sister, putting her in hospital. He soon met Shinji, and knowing her
was the evangelion's pilot, showed his anger with him (to put it mildly). Soon Angel 4
Shamshel attacked and Shinji saved him and Kensuke (who were both in the wrong place)
ending up in evangelion's entry plug. He was later chosen as the pilot for evangleion unit 03,
agreeing to pilot as long as his sister was moved to the NERV hospital. He was later injured
when Angel 13 Bardiel took possesion of his evangelion during an activation test forcing
evangelion units 00, 01, and 02 to destroy it with him still inside (both 00, and 02 failed,
and 01 only succedded with the dummy plug system when Shinji refused to act).
The series doesnt go into any great detail of Touji, his family, even his injured
sister were never shown. With Tomokazu Seki as his seiyuu, he irst appears in episode 3 A transfer.
He doesnt change much either, being the same kinda guy all the way through. The greatest change for
him is when he and Hikari gets together. He was always a strong character, only agreeing to pilot, if
his sister was moved into the NERV hospital. His relationship with Hikari was never explored, although
she very often brought him a cooked lunch which they ate together. He exits the series, as yet another
casulty of the Angels, ending up just like his sister.
