EVANGELION 03 - ADVANCED MODEL
Evangelion Unit 03, or "Sangoki"
as it is known in the Japanese, it is
the advanced model of the evangelion. It
was constructed in Massechucetts, USA, its
pilot is Touji Suzahara, and its core
soul suspected to be Touji's mother.
It first appears in episode 17 The fourth child.
The seccond production model evangelion, it has many differences to the first production model evangelion.
The nature of this unit seemed to be quite and compliant, never showing a hint of problems at all, dispite
its outwardly intimidating appearance. This unit remained totally silent, never meeting any problems
during the design, construction, or transpartation of the unit to Japan (immediatly after the incident
with unit 04 that annihilated the the fellow branch NERV, in Navada). It's lack of personality, may be to
the fact, it never had a core soul until it reached Japan, as as such was never activated, or tested.
Neither did it have a pilot, until the unwilling Touji Suzahara was chosen as it's pilot. However, this unit
posesses something unqiue amoung the evangelion.

This unit was the first of two units built in the United States, both to be completed after units
00, 01 and 02, in sequential order. Unit 03, like all other evangelion before it, was apparently already
completed by the time the Angels returned to assult Tokyo 3. Being the seccond production model evangelion,
it held some differences to unit 02 (the first production model, built in Germany). In appearance, it seems
to be far more similar to unit 01, having the same physical features and intimidating appearance, but this
also hid another, far more deadly difference. The unit was treated with much more complacency than the other
evangelion. Its designated pilot, Touji Suzahara, never really wanted to pilot the unit, although he did agree
to do so in return ofr better medical treatment for his recently injured sister. The unit was first activated in
Matsushiro, Japan (a place near Tokyo 3), under the direction of Ritsuko Akagi and Major Misato Katsuragi.
The unit was brought to the absolute borderline successfully and Touji successfully syncronised wtih the
evangelion. Then something went wrong, energy readings went through the roof, and it failed to respond to
shut down commands, it had become Angel 13 Bardiel (episode 17) displaying the ability to streach and fuse
with the other evangelion. The rouge unit, headed for Tokyo 3, reaching it in under half an hour. Successfully
disabling units 00 and 02, continuing to attack unit 01. The unit was completly destroyed when the dummy
plug for unit 01 was activated, also critically injuring its pilot Touji.
